Lighten Up

Lighten Up

In this day and age, being house proud speaks volumes about your personality and character. Your home is your ultimate pride and joy and your own little haven to do as you please with.

See below for four creative tips to lighten up some of the rooms in your home, the SND way!

Kitchen

What makes a good kitchen is the fittings and fixtures along with the design. What makes an amazing kitchen? Well, the way it lights up and captures attention, of course! Illuminate your worktops with LED strip lighting under your units! Available in many different designs and colours, ensure you work that kitchen environment to its full potential. What's more, they can be fitted by yourself too, saving you money on installation costs.

Bathroom

As above, you can use LED strip lights in the bathroom, but also LED bulbs as well. A lot of people go for LED lighting as it is incredibly energy efficient and looks nicer in the bathroom, accentuating the aesthetics of the room itself. Try putting a few LED lights above the bathroom mirror as well, for fantastic results.

Bedroom

Now, bedrooms are a little different for lighting, although lots of us go for LED lights in the bedroom, it is wise to choose something that has a dimmer as you may occasionally prefer low lighting, as opposed to constant brightness. Lighting is also dependent on the style of your bedroom, if your room is vintage, traditional or romantic; then go for a chandelier in the middle and perhaps some LED rope lighting strewn through or around your headboard. Alternatively, if your room is modern and contemporary, then perhaps LED lights would work, with a dimmer switch, preferably.

Living Room

If your living room is your ultimate piéce de resistance and the room where you mostly entertain guests, then you need lighting that speaks volumes! A focal point for the centre of your main room would ideally need to be something grand and classy. See here, for a unique selection of chandeliers and ceiling lights to make your special room sparkle.
