Dual Protection - 2 independent fire barriers:
The first line of protection is around the circumference of the inner body - This will enclose all internal components including the lamp should a fire break out.

The second barrier is at the top of the body, the warm air created by the lamp is vented out of the top and the side of the body via the vent holes. Should a fire occur, these vent holes are sealed shut so no flames or fire can pass through to any ceiling void. This 'sealing process' is achieved by the use of specialist fire rated material

• Tested to BS476 Part 21
 and BS 476 part 23

• Tested to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 & BS EN ISO 140-6:1998 (Acoustics) confirming that they maintain the ability for an internal or separating floor to provide sound insulation
