Choose the right setup for your home.

Check the compatibility of your existing doorbell wiring system to help you decide how you would like to power your Video Doorbell Wired. 
If your existing doorbell wiring system is incompatible we recommend installation by a qualified electrician using Ring DIN Rail Transformer. Alternatively, you can use Ring Plug-In Adapter to power Video Doorbell Wired from a standard electrical socket.
Once you have decided which installation option is best for you, follow the full installation steps on the free Ring app. Don't forget to add a Ring Chime to hear notifications around your home.

Use Plug-In adapter (2nd Gen) sold separately (24VDC. 0.5A, 12W). Plug-In Adapter features a 6m cable and comes with cable clips. Plugs into standard indoor electrical socket.
