Description

In a single small DIN-rail device, the Fusebox RTA Series RCBOs provide both overcurrent and residual-current protection. They are ideal for contemporary circuits with electronic loads like LED lighting, appliances, and power supplies because they are made with Type A sensitivity, which allows them to detect both AC and pulsating DC leakage currents.

These RCBOs are appropriate for slightly higher inrush currents that are common in commercial and light industrial applications because of their Curve C tripping characteristic, which trips between 5 and 10 times the rated current. They offer a strong and dependable solution for secure electrical installations that complies with BS EN 61009-1.

Key Features:

  • Type A sensitivity — protects against AC and pulsating DC leakage currents.

  • Curve C characteristic — ideal for circuits with moderate inrush currents (e.g. small motors, fluorescent lighting).

  • Compact single-module design (18mm) — maximises space in your distribution boards.

  • Residual operating current: 30mA for personal and fire protection.

  • Rated short-circuit capacity: 10kA.

  • Test Button — easy periodic safety checks.

  • Standard DIN rail mounting — straightforward installation into Fusebox consumer units.

  • 18th Edition compliant — meets current UK wiring regulations.
